Admiral PR shortlisted for nine PRide Awards
Friday, July 26, 2013
It’s an exciting day for the team at Admiral PR. Earlier this morning, the Chartered Institute of Public Relations [CIPR] announced its shortlist for the annual regional awards ceremonies – PRide Awards.
With bated breath we waited to see if our client work over the past 12 months had made the cut, and to our delight, the news was not disappointing!
Admiral PR has been shortlisted for a total of nine CIPR PRide Awards for 2013, eight of which are for work delivered out of our Newcastle PR office and one for work delivered by our PR team in Manchester.
We’ve been recognised for our outstanding work across the two regions, and have been nominated for several awards including Best Use of Media Relations, Best Integrated Campaign and Outstanding Consultancy, to name but a few.
Commenting on the news, Georgie Cameron, Founder and MD of Admiral PR, said: “We’re delighted. Being shortlisted for nine awards is no mean feat.
“We have such a brilliant team at Admiral, and this is clear recognition of their ability to get results for clients day in and day out.”
The CIPR PRide Awards recognise the outstanding talents and achievements of public relations practitioners across the UK’s regions and nations. They are the most prestigious and rigorous awards of their kind.
Commenting on this year’s shortlist announcement, CIPR President Sue Wolstenhome FCIPR, said:
“The CIPR PRide Awards celebrate the very best in public relations from across the UK’s regions and nations. This year’s entries were all of an incredibly high standard, highlighting the industry-leading work that is taking place right across the UK.
I would like to congratulate all of those who have been shortlisted for an award; their success demonstrates their exemplary achievements in such a thriving profession, and recognises the impact they have made in their region and beyond.”
Cameron, who is also a judge for the national PRCA awards this year concluded: “I’d like to congratulate all of the other agencies, in house teams and practitioners that have been shortlisted.”
